Welcome

Art At 2300 Gallery Welcomes You

Our April opening event of Art At 2300 Gallery was fabulous! Artists and visitors alike enjoyed meeting each other and discussing art, and art relationships. There were paintings, jewelry, ceramics, prints, cards, etc. Acoustic guitarist Pat Speece played wonderfully. Children who just met had a great time making a dragon that they hung from their own tent!  It was a nurturing weekend for everyone..

Art At 2300 Gallery opens Spring 2024 in Lexington as a pop-up gallery with multi-tiered events. The three founders are Karen Berman-Mulligan acrylic painter, Jean Hart watercolorist and Angelique Zandhuis Swingle gemstone jeweler. We hold events once a month starting in Spring going through Fall. The gallery will have some openings for guest artists to join our events! We invite other art forms such as yoga instructors, singers, musicians to perform. Additionally we welcome local children to explore the arts, come and draw and create, and hang their art. Below is a description of our three founding artists.

We hope folks will understand our philosophy. Artists are provided with an opportunity to spend the weekend meeting folks and talking about their art, and hopefully selling, without having to think that they have to pay commission. This is a new concept. We want to enjoy the time with artists together having a positive experience and with visitors enjoying interacting with us. We focus on the atmosphere and support and advertisement, so we all can enjoy selling our work together, including the 3 founding artists. We want that all enjoy the weekends together. This is not all about business with us.
